Using Xbox 360 Controller

I want to use a Xbox 360 controller for my games, but my when ever I try to set it up in the games, it does not detect the axises. in windows, it detects them just fine, but all my games do not. I've tryed other drivers, but none work.

Do any of these games natively support a controller?

Well try to use Emulators ... I had the same problems but with Hama (Looks like Dualshock2)

I still wanna Play CoD MW2 with joystick but with Auto-aim helper

And make sure the game supports joystick..

It would help us more if you could specify if you are using a wired or wireless controller?

I'm using and official wired Xbox 360 controller and up to now it works in anything and everything i throw at it. Never had to install anything for it as Windows 7 picked it up the first time and installed it's own native driver's.

What games are you trying to play?

The 360 pad works as standard on 99% of games. I think it's only the C.O.D series that doesn't support it.

Your games(if supported) should already be configured and should not need adjusting.

Yep. For console ports, the C.O.D series doesn't support controllers natively

For games that do - it really should just be a case of plug n play for the 360 controller.

Wait, are all the drivers installed? Because it could be a simple driver issue. But if they are what games are you trying to run them on? Cause if they are old games (old as in GTA IV wasn't out for the PC yet) they need regular button programing.
