    Starcraft wont start :(

Solved: I downloaded image files from TPB and used my own cd key, updated trough battle.net, now everything works (not colors, but i'm used to it). I didn't use compaptibility mode.

Hi! I have lately installed windows 7, and I've been very happy with it. But now my favorite game Starcraft wont start. The problem is similar to this thread:
    Starcraft doesn't work...

Starcraft was unable to open a required file. If this problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling Starcraft using the program SETUP.EXE on the Starcraft CD-ROM.

The problemoccured while tring to load a file
    glue\PalCs\tEffect.pcx
The system cannot find the file specified.
I have installed starcraft from a installer file I downloaded from blizzard, it worked well on vista. I tried to install it on compaptibility mode and I tried to play it with compaptibility mode, nothing worked.

The game installs without problem and starts, I see the blizzard logo and intro video, but when it should actually load the game it gives that error.

Please help me, I really need that game :/

    EDIT: I have windows 7 RC1 32 bit

Try not playing on compatibility mode. My problem before was weird, as it need to be installed in compatibility mode, but run it normally. Are you on RC1 or win7 beta? With RC1, I can run the game even with compatibility mode, but the colors can't be fixed. Also, are you using 32 or 64 bit?

I have windows 7 RC1 32 bit.. I had the same color problem with vista already. And I didn't run it in compatibility mode most of the time.
