ATI Mobility Radeon x1400

So right now when I'm playing this game there are these weird black shadows that are like a fan appearing from the character. I'm wondering if I need a new update to my ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 for my Inspiron E1505 laptop by dell. If I do where would I find such an update I looked on the site but it has nothing for windows 7. Could anyone help me here?

The reason you can't find a Windows 7 driver is their isn't one. ATI declared all GPU's below the HD 2xxx series legacy, and as a result the best you can hope for is a somewhat older Vista driver which coincidentally Dell does have for that x1400,

If you want to try for a sightly newer driver you can try and mod,

Mobility Modder - ATI Version, Install the Latest Drivers on your ATI laptop

the Catalyst 9.3 suite,

ATI Catalyst 9.3 WHQL Vista | Windows 7 32-bit download from

to work with your x1400. If you decide to try the modding route don't go above the 9.3 as there is no support for the older GPU's in the newer Catalyst suites.
