    Hoyle Board Games

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, hopefully it's fine...

My grandpa recently had Hoyle Board Games 2005 installed on the downstairs PC (also Windows 7), and my mom was messing around and got rid of his shortcut for it. He asked me to put a new shortcut on the desktop, so I thought "easy enough", and got to it. Long story short, I found the directory and there was absolutely no .exe inside of it (there should be), I don't know how my mom managed to do that. So I tried to uninstall/reinstall it, but then found that it was not appearing in the list of programs (for adding/removing). So, although it was probably a bad idea, I shift+del the entire "Encore" directory, because the setup does not have an option to uninstall and whenever I hoped maybe running the setup would do a re-install / modify and repair, it would tell me the version was already installed. So, I have removed any known trace of the program, restarted, and still I get that message when trying to install. What can I do, it's really important I get it working as it's the only thing he really even needs the computer for.
Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hiya pal

Have you tried using the freeware program Ccleaner to remove all traces including registry entries.
Once you've tried this try re-installing it again

hey, sorry for the delayed response. I tried using CCleaner but I was still unable to find the program (prbly cause I deleted the folder), but found a system restore which put me to the point right before I installed it, and was not far enough back to change anything else thanks for the help though!
