Windows 7 7100 vs 7137 Punkbuster World at War issue

I installed Windows 7 7100 recently and noticed it worked fine with Call of Duty World at War. Punkbuster, for the most part behaved itself. However, the problem with Punkbuster appears to have surfaced again, when I installed the latest build: 7137. Now I can't even play from more than 1 minute on any server without the dreaded API kick.

Have you guys also experienced this?

BTW - I have tried all the various attempted fixes for the Punkbuster issue without success. I now intend to install 7100 again just to verify. In addition, my QuakeLive works on both verison without being kicked.

Ahh excellent to hear, thanks for that! I will be installing 7127 tonight and will report back later.

Not sure if this makes a diff or not, but I upgraded from RC 7100 to 7137 & PB is fine for me & no kicks.
This is on ET:QW & RTCW...

But I don't see why this would make any diff as PunkBuster is PunkBuster regardless of the game you are running!

Well it's strange but it's a fact (at least for me with this particular game). Do remember that punkbuster files are different for different games; although a lot of the files are fairly similar they will be game specific.

I guess I will find out soon when I install 7127 on a different drive. In fact before I do that I might just try Call of Duty 4 to see if that also kicks me.

I am using 7100 and every time I get to the weapon selection as soon as I choose a weapon the game crashes from an unhandled exception. This is in multiplayer on x86.

Probably an issue with video drivers though now that I think about it but it's damned irritating.
