    Gmod Performance


    I run Garry's Mod "11" (v10.1 I think it technically is called) and have a lot of lag when I try to build something then blow it up. I have the game maxed graphics, 1920x1080 resolution. The computer I'm running it on has specs which are tied to my SevenForums account. I have MSE running, and the basic Win7 services, but that shouldn't lag my game considering I have so much RAM and a quad core with HT. I'm wondering if I should upgrade my graphics card, or maybe even overclock my CPU a bit.

    EDIT:

    Would turning off Aero and fancy visuals help it? I'm not sure if it is my CPU or my GPU that is being lagged.

    Game booster may help. its only the game lagging due to slight over use of the ram available game booster shuts down any un-neaded background programs while gaming increasing ram space. if that fails. try lowering the effect detail and stuff in the display options
