I for one like Asus laptops. Gaming on a laptop is just wrong I think. Well, I couldn't see myself doing it at least.

Unfortunately I live in Australia and our prices have gone up allot with our dollar being so week now and this will give you some idea of prices here for the i7 CPU alone, never mind everything else that need to go along with it.
