NFS Shift
Will nfs shift work on my system?
Your GPU GMA X3100 is not powerful enough to handle most games including NFS shift
The requirements say 256 MB graphics but I have 384 MB can u plz tell me the reason why It cant handle?
The clock speed of your GPU is too low
Laptops are not designed for gaming
sadly gaming with on board graphics is overall a very poor experience imho....but you don't have to believe me just do a Google/Bing search of benchmarks and gaming experience with the X3100
save yourself some frustration and download the NFS Shift demo and see if you can get the game to play at level that is acceptable to you on your PC before spending any $ on the game
You need Hardware T&L, which your integrated chip does not support by default.
The newer drivers from Intel do support this, but still your chip lacks power to handle most modern games.
I would say, give it a try with the demo. Then you'll know.
will nfs world work then?It says gma 950 or better is required .Note I have GMA X3100..will it work?
It would technically work but you would need to dial down almost all of the settings on it and probably run it at 640 x 480 or 800 x 600.
I know but in official site it says 512 MB graphics is required. but will it work at least...how should I push to make it work
Well, according to the requirements as listed in their own forums, a GMA 950 would work properly. You wouldn't really have to "push" anything but you would have to, as I said before, dial down the settings when running the game to run at nearly the lowest quality so it can perform at least acceptably. http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/1665738.page
