IL-2 Sturmovik Installation problem

Hi all,
I just made an account and this is my first post here (I'm a long time lurker though).

I'm looking for some help with a game I recently brought (an old cheap one, 0.99) but it isnt working. It's IL-2 Sturmivik and I think it was released a long time ago. The problem I'm getting is that I run the CD autorun file and nothing happens . Therefor I havent managed to get anything at all installed. I've tried running as an administrator as well. (Im not a complete novice)
Although, I failed to check whether it actually works on Windows 7 though .
Sorry if I need to give you more detail, just ask and I'll try to get it for you.

Thanks,
Wibble199
