    halo pc framerate issues!

Ok, first of all hello everyone!
Now, i have an anoying framerate problem with halo.

when i had xp the game would run perfectly, no slow down or anything, but since i installed windows 7, for some reason halo is running very slow especialy in the levels halo( when you look at the big structure when you find the first group of marines) and assault on the control room (when i drive the warthog in the snow(it gets REALY SLOW!!)) and i dont know why, and my specs are more than enough!!(will show later in this post)

Could some help me on this problem, please?

    my specs:
    CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
    ram: 3 gb
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 32-bit
    graphic card: GeForce 8800 GS
