    Game Crash


    Dont know if this is in the right place but I have recently reinstalled World at War and the game just crashes to desk top when I try to launch it copy of problem below.

    Sorry you are having problems. The Exception Code: c0000005 indicates memory corruption which can have many causes - bad RAM, RAM timings, antivirus program, drivers, video card, firewall, power supply, etc. Are you getting a BSOD of just the application crash?

    Thanks Carl for putting in right place it just the application that crashes. Strange thing is it worked fine until a few days ago the problems started so I did a complete un install re installed game and had this problem ever sine I did this running several other games with no probs at all.

    The thanks go to the moderators for putting it in the right place. I will leave it to the gaming Gurus to sort this one out. That is most definitely not my area of expertise! Some of them will be along; just be patient - and good luck.

    I would try a fresh copy of Video and Audio drivers to see if there was a corruption somewhere.

    Did you recently do a windows update? if so, did you also update your drivers (audio & video)... every time windows does the driver updates, my whole rig suffers so I only download from manufacture and for my os.

    Thanks for you tips folks found the fault if I boot up the game with sound set at 24 bit 48 hz it crashes boot it up in 16 bit 48hz runs a dream.

    Yup, 24bit sound on integrated audio ish bad :/

    Same Problem


    I have the EXACT same problem he has. The only thing is, how do i change the game settings? I went to the properties of the game, I didn't see any settings there. Please help!

    You need to go into your sound manager and set it up in there right click on sound icon to check which setting its on and alter accordingly
