CS 1.6 Startup Menu has no Items?

    Hello,

Having issues on my labtop with getting CS 1.6 to work (Non - Steam)

When I start the game I get to the main menu with no buttons to click, but I can hear the buttons noises when I scroll around.

Here's an image of what it looks like:

    My Labtop's Specs:
Operating System - Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit
Video Card - Intel 965 Express Chipset
    RAM - 3GB

Things I've tried to fix it:
    Installed newest version of DirectX
Re-installed my intel video cards drivers, updated them and rolled them back.
    Re-installed the game.

I have several friends that have installed and ran the game fine, just curious as to what anyone would think about my issue?

    Thanks!

Your chipset supports DX9, did you try to install something higher than that?

Yes, I think Direct X 11 is installed. That might be a problem, rofl.

    Edit -

Yes, definitely installed Direct X 11

Anyway to get back to Direct X 9 without reformatting? D:

I remember seeing a tool for it on guru3D.com.

Yeah, I found the tool, but it's on 32 bit compatible.

I did a system restore to the point where Microsoft made right before I installed Direct X.

Should I just install Direct X 9? Do you have a link for it?

    Thanks!

I'll post back if CS 1.6 works after this install :)
