Windows 7: I get an error with event ID 1000 when updating WOW

I get an error with event ID 1000 when updating WOW


everytime I try to install the v.4 update for world of warcraft I get through the downloading process but when I try to install the update it gets to about 3% and then it crashes every time. I tried run as admin, compt mode, troubleshooting and now it gets to around 12% and then crashes.
