    Mirror's Edge

So I'm wondering, what are peoples' opinions of this game here?

Personally, I loved the game. The sound especially, also the physics were incredible and so were the graphics. I played through the entire game with settings maxed out with physics enabled.

    It was beautiful.

The problem of the game is its trial-and-error nature. If you're a (very) patient gamer or a person who's used to first-person gameplay, this wouldn't be much of a worry. I myself was annoyed by this at first, but when I got hanged of it this parkour game becomes an awesome experience.

The game's one of my favorites. The first of its kind.

I would have liked to try it with physx, but even without it, it still looked good.

Definitely a unique and enjoyable game.

My 4890 was able to play the game maxed out fairly easy.

The only problem I had with the game was I had to disable PhysX.
In certain areas it would get very choppy, almost like a slide show.

Havent played in a while, so there may be a fix for it.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Good game.

Although not enough that I thought it was worth the $50 price tag I paid when it was first released :)

But now I think its something along the lines of $20?
At that price its more than worth the purchase.

I cannot wit for "Mirrors Edge 2." Hopefully they keep the same in-game ambient music developer. He's brilliant.

I tried it with Physx when I got my 470, but it definitely needs a dedicated Physx card. The bit near the start where the soliders shoot the glass brought my 470 to its knees.

I thought it was a great game though, especially with how unique it was. A bit awkward in places, but nothing that would ruin the game.

Yep! Thats the point I got to and the game just went into a slide show.
After disabling PhysX though, everything went smoothly.

The glass shattering and the sound effects were half the game, you should wear some awesome headphones for the full "edge" experience.

    I know I did.
