Call of duty:Black ops

game worked fine on my machine maxed out.

They need to fix the fatal error issue that alot are having. I fixed the window that would pop up and lock the pc up but now it makes the .dmp file. I have minimized the error though by making steam low priority and codbomp.exe high priority. But it still sucks. It's definately a server side issue that Treyarch needs to address as it seems to happen more frequently on full servers. At least it does for me. If they can straighten out this issue I will consider recommending this game but as of now there are too many issues.

I agree, I've been playing it quite a bit. I'm about 15 hours total playtime online...which won't set any records, but it's clearly entertaining me.

Well, I'm at 15 hours of playing online right now. Considering a movie at my local theater is about $10 for 2 hours or less. So, dollar per hour of entertainment value is quite worth it. I'll probably play CoD for over 100 hours total...which makes it like 50 cents per hour. Pretty cheap in my opinion.

My son would agree with you without a doubt.
He is like a machine with this game (xbox), was with the last version to. Watched him in a few matches, between matches etc., can't remember him even looking at the controller.

I thought of trying the PC version, picking up a game controller and all. But knowing how well seasoned players like my son friggin fly through maps and annialate other players without mercy - I would get my @ss kicked. GRAW 2 is more my speed. But you can't jump or climb ladders.
