The Sims 2 Sound!!!

    The Sims 2 Sound!!!


    During The Sims 2 when i do certain things like zoom, pan, place furniture and other things the sound goes really weird. it slows and after i stop zooming for example it speeds up. can any one help??!!

    Here are my specs according to windows 7 ratings thingy you can find at Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Performance Information and Tools;

    processor Intel 2.80 ghz 3.8
    memory 1.50 GB 4.5
    graphics NVindia geforce fx5700 3.5
    gaming graphics590 mb total available 3.3
    soundcard realtek AC'97

    Can you add your Soundcard in that list? I'm no expert - but in relation to the sound going really weird, it might be that. So if you add that in, someone else might know.

    For what it's worth though - The Sims 3 works flawlessly in Windows 7, play that till the Sims 2 is fixed maybe? :)

    Sound Card: Realtek AC'97
    Like mine! The seven drivers are located here:
    Realtek
    Hope they work...
    Once you've agreed to the terms of service click the Win7 driver download (one of the three sites):

    May be I dont have the sims 3? my sound card is realtek AC'97.

    ...Ummm not really sure what you're trying to point at here? I was giving you a friendly suggestion to pass the time till you got you Sims 2 fixed. But I reckon you mean you can't buy The Sims 3 in NZ?

    And a screenrecorder for games is Fraps.

    I believe its fixed. Just tried it worked fine. thx dw96 and Mixxie!!
