    BFBC2 causing a bsod?

Not asking for bsod help, just if anyone has got a bsod randomly while running it. On w7 ultimate x64. I play it no problem but twice randomly it bsod'd once during a launch and once at the main menu when I was about to search for a online match.

If only they were not the latest. Maybe next time ask if they are or not?

Nice attitude. You can see the help rushing in can't you?

As it happens, I know the answer - but I'll just keep it to myself.

That's fine then. I have no attitude, I just dislike when people make assumptions. If that's too much to handle then I'm sorry for you. It wasn't really ment to sound like that. Also BFBC2 installs DX when it installs, or at least mine did. Everything is up to date as it should be.

Everything is up to date as it should be.

Unfortunately that's the problem - BFBC2 has had 'issues' with catalyst drivers since 10.6 >

The last version that didn't cause BFBC2 to crash was 10.5 / 10.5a.

:s That bad eh? This is the first game I have ever bought that actually had a issue with ati drivers. Well, at least it doesn't crash all the time.

    Afraid so.

For reasons only known to the ATI driver team, they fixed all the issues only to break them again with later releases which to this day, are still broken
