Tried Onlive? What was the Experience? Have you tried Onlive? If so what was the experience like in your area? It is free to sign-up for and to play 30 minutes of almost all the games they currently offer.
In my area, or at least from my house, my experience has been excellent. Almost no lag or delay. I'm in Southern California, Riverside county. Lucky enough to have an Onlive datacenter only a few miles from here.
Oh, and I have a 10mbps Cable connection. | My System Specs |

I haven't tried it. I just saw the commercial for it earlier today, and it got my interest. I am reading up on it now, seems to be a really cool service. I just wonder if it worth the $100 hardware. Looking further, Im actually considering getting it when tax time rolls around.
think maybe this will be the future of pc gaming? A cool concept, buy the game, and stream/play wherever you are (granted you bring the 'console' with you) hey, it just might give steam a run for it's money too.... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number eMachines W3502 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x32 CPU Intel Celeron D 3.2 Ghz 533 fsb (LGA 775) Motherboard Intel D101GGC Memory 1 GB (2x512MB) PC-3200 DDR @ 200Mhz Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce 9400GT- 1GB Sound Card Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreame Gamer Monitor(s) Displays 19" LCD HDtv Screen Resolution 1360x768 @ 60Htz Keyboard Stock. I was part of the early release.... Unless you dont have a high/mid end pc dont waste your time.... its alot like steam but you rely on other peoples hardware...
Not to mention look into the guy who developed it... Almost everything he has invested in and created has failed.... I wouldnt pay into his latest scheme just buy the game. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number SMN-Productions OS Windows 7 x86/x64, Server 2008r2, Web Server 2008 CPU i7 v2 3930K Steping stone 2 Motherboard ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Memory G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB Graphics Card AMD HD 5770 Monitor(s) Displays Acer 21" and Samsung 20" Keyboard Black Widow Ultimate PSU 1000 Watt Case HAF-X Cooling 4 Fans Hard Drives Patriot Pyro 80GB |

Tried the free account thing. Registered and nothing popped up asking to be installed to play the games, and clicking "Play" just takes me to the account page. Was using Chrome, so tried registering another account in IE and still nothing. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Professional x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core i7 920 3.2GHz Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth x58 Memory 6GB XMS3 Corsair 1333MHz Graphics Card Zotac Nvidia Geforce GTX470 Sound Card ASUS Xonar DX/XD 7.1 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24" S2409W + Dell 20" E207WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1080 + 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G11 Keyboard Mouse Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (2007 edition) PSU Corsair HX850 modular Case Coolermaster 690II Advanced Nvidia Edition Cooling Corsair H60 Hard Drives 1x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2E, 1x 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black, 1x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green Internet Speed 16Mbps Other Info LG Blu-Ray player |

I'll have a look around and see if I can find anything about what's up. Thanks for the link. I'd like to get it working, like the 30minute free play would be cool to have to just try games. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Professional x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core i7 920 3.2GHz Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth x58 Memory 6GB XMS3 Corsair 1333MHz Graphics Card Zotac Nvidia Geforce GTX470 Sound Card ASUS Xonar DX/XD 7.1 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24" S2409W + Dell 20" E207WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1080 + 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G11 Keyboard Mouse Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (2007 edition) PSU Corsair HX850 modular Case Coolermaster 690II Advanced Nvidia Edition Cooling Corsair H60 Hard Drives 1x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2E, 1x 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black, 1x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green Internet Speed 16Mbps Other Info LG Blu-Ray player |
