Windows 7: trying to install DirectX for Darkfall

Solution: All I did was downloading this file: Download details: DirectX End-User Runtimes (March 2009) and extracting every RAR file in there and then running divxwebsetup from there.

I'm trying to install DirectX for Darkfall but it always fails with the following error (I skipped it and now Darkfall won't load so I'm trying to fix it):

A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid.

I tried googling this, and found this: Windows XP Service Pack 2 - Common Issues
I tried everything on there, but the last tip

Start off by entering the following into the run dialog - regsvr32 softpub.dll
Then register the following dll files by opening the run box again and typing regsvr32 and the name of the following files (one at a time).

Wintrust.dll, Initpki.dll, Dssenh.dll, Rsaenh.dll, Gpkcsp.dll, Sccbase.dll, Slbcsp.dll, Mssip32.dll, and Cryptdlg.dll.

3 DLLs won't load. They are: Gpkcsp.dll, Sccbase.dll and Slbcsp.dll.

Solution to the " Cryptographic Services" error - Steam Users' Forums I also tried this, but came up with another error o_o which is:

An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem.

I would upload the logs here, but I can't find them.
I thought that copying the downloaded redist. files to the Darkfall folder where divxwebsetup.exe was running from might solve the problem, but the same error (the Crypto error) occurs.

I am completely and utterly helpless! Please help me!
