why does this game never let me use more than 2gb of ram!?!?! if i use process explorer my ram never gets above 1.9gb, i have tried this: 4GB Fallout New Vegas at Fallout New Vegas Nexus - New Vegas mods and community
but this game never seems to use much ram, odd none of my other games have this issue
So is it lagging or something? If not i wouldn't complain that it doesn't need more ram.

In fact, the vast majority of games will never utilize more than 2GB because of this.
Why this MOD itself doesn't work - you're better of reading the comments from others.
the game doesnt lag as such, i do get an annoying stutter when it loads a new grid and the textures etc, i think that is more related to the hdd though, not that i have a slow one i have a samsung spinpoint f3. think the only way to get rid of that is have an ssd
The stuttering is due to the engine design with regards to rendering distant distances in the open areas. I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about it other than getting a super duper uber system that can run Crysis at 300 FPS on super uber high at 1900 x 1200 res

do you know of any tweaks that reduce this or any thing that can be done (without having to change my hardware)? i cant believe they havent patched it to fix it, at first i thought it was something wrong with my pc, then i went round a mates house and tryed it on his and he got the stutters in the EXACT same places!!!

As I said before, the stuttering issue is a game engine issue. Bethesda needs to fix it.

yeah a little annoying but i can live with it, lucky i get no microstutter at all just the load stutter when it renders things at specific points, shame they havent fixed it considering its been out for 2 months now
