The Witcher is based upon a Polish Author's fantasy series of books - hence the great storyline. Also, Fallout 3 is brilliantly awesome (both in terms of play as well as graphics), while Dead Space (which had great graphics, but was a bit too easy to beat for my tastes) and BattleForge are decent - but TOCA's Race
Driver G.R.I.D. is downright addictive to someone like me (who is only 8 trophies away from having them all, and who just fired the one guy who had been on 23 podiums with me - all for a driver charging me a 10M sign on bonus :P). Yes, I still play G.R.I.D. to the very day - and will continue to for a few years to come....
I am *surprised that no one has mentioned
Prototype - if you have not played this game, *play* it. You will not be disappointed.
And, for RPG lovers, don't forget that Blizzard is coming out with Diablo III soon as well....
Yes i find GRID very addictive too, and Car sims are not my favourite kind of game, but i cant stop liking it, (im getting into the final stage now) its a very perfect game in its style.
As for The Witcher, i took some time finishing it, but i can tell you i was very addicted to it, as long as an RPG can get you curious about the choices on your next move (lots of different endings) it always be a good game.
I played Prototype for an hour or two, i can tell you i didnt find the magic in that game, nor the addictiveness, the storyline is well... good i guess but the gameplay turns into the typical "hack and slash" type, and the mistic just vanishes, its always the same combos, no matter the weapons and the enemys. Well, tastes...
And now, about Diablo III. Im gonna kill someone to play that, i was a huuuge DI and DII (with LOD) fan, long time ago. So, that surelly will knock my other games to their shelter.
