    Fallout 3 win 7 64 bit help


    i bought fallout 3 goty edition and i installed it it installed good but when i wanted to start new game video started where you born then screen lagged but sound continued and sometimes it lagg when starting up game where bethesda thing comes. if anyone know how to solve this please help me thx

    First of all what is the specs of your computer. Please include CPU, RAM, and Graphics Card make/model.

    umm my laptop specs are 4 gb ram win7 64bit like i said in 1st comment cpu i5 480m gpu ati radeon mobile 6550m these are specs.

    With those specs you should be able to run on medium settings and anything above that will cause FPS drop. You can change the Display/Graphics settings from the main menu of the Game.

    ok thanks but i think this wont work(i deleted game not installed atm) because when it lagged last time i tried all settings from low to ultra and i think i forgot to say that it not just lagging it crashes and comes thing that say program stopped working can it be because of cpu cuz i heard that fallout 3 laggs on quad core cpu sometimes my cpu is dual core but most of programs shows that it has 4 cores it has 4 threads can it be because of this?

    No It shouldn't be because of only having dual cores if played on the proper settings because all the video get offloaded to the GPU. You should try to reinstall the game and see how it goes.
