Crytek: We’ll release a pre-launch Crysis 2 MP demo for PC

A Xbox 360 exclusive demo of Crysis 2 multiplayer was released by Crytek a few days ago. Needless to say, PC gamers weren’t too happy about it due to Crytek’s long standing relation with the platform.

However, the gloom is going to be replaced by joy soon since Crytek has officially confirmed that a pre-launch Crysis 2 MP demo will infact be released on PC. This news was confirmed by them via a tweet:

At this time, Crytek & EA are glad to confirm that we’ll be releasing a pre-launch Crysis 2 multiplayer demo on PC! Stay tuned for details.

DirextX 11 support was recently confirmed for Crytek’s shooter and CEO, Yevli had ensured that the PC version of Crysis 2 will be the best one a while ago.

NO campaign (SP) demo no pre-order or even an order. Crytek was/is one of my favorite but I really did not take the news well that they were going to be catering more to the consoles because of pirate pc games... I will still buy it but after I see the previews since I don't do MP, I won't really care whether the gameplay is good on not.

No, I mean Crysis 2. I bought it and it was supposed to come out in November/December.
I pre-ordered it from the EA Store, and they charge the full amount right away, so they have had my $30 since April of 2010.
I got a good deal on the game though, so I am not complaining too much about it,

Medal of Honor debuted @ $60, COD: Black Flops as well (although it was expected), so did Dead Space 2.

I don't mind paying $60 for MP games, but for short/linear SP's?
