Ten Awesome Free-to-Play Online Games

Quote:
You want to pay how much per month to play massively-multiplayer online games? Pfffft. Don’t assume that the best dungeon crawls, social avatar networks, or space simulations all require you to cough up part of your hard-earned paycheck once every four weeks. Free-to-play is the hot new topic on the MMO scene, and it’s not just relegated to C-level titles that never even made it into your local gaming store’s bargain bin.
But don’t take our word for it. Here are ten of the best free MMOs that will steal your time away without stealing a penny from your bank account.

If you can get past the crashes, good luck. I was too mad to finish it, lol
the second one is promising, considering how good it looks and how low the requirements are

By the way, I think I'll try Champions Online from this list. Sounds pretty cool as far as online games like these go.

I've tried all of these, at one point or another. Most are pretty much garbage The cake goes to Atlantica Online for being the worst of these, one of it's selling points being that "you don't have to play it". It actually has an in-game bot. Right in the user interface. Yep, you CAN walk around from one NPC to another, but you can leave a bot to do that for you.

The person that made that list isn't exactly a gem either, I'm not sure what kind of person it takes to say Blizzard (or any other game company, for that matter) is STEALING money from anyone's pocket.

Anyway, if you want to try any of these, I would recommend LOTR and League of Legends. I've actually had a LOTR account for a while (back when it wasn't FTP), but concluded WOW is more fun. Still, a very good game and I've had some good times in it.

If you liked the witcher you might enjoy dragon age origins and the associated dlc packs. ...just a thought. Not quite as dark as the witcher but your choices in the game have some impact on progression which gives it a nice quality. The DLC's are short but challenging too.
