Medal of Honor: Allied Assault expansions can't adjust options

I recently got the Medal of Honor 10th anniversary package, and all of the games work fine, minus the 2 expansions for Allied Assault (Spearhead and Breakthrough). The games themselves run well enough, however I can't adjust any of the options. This is really a deal breaker for me, because I just can't stand the low quality audio.

Changing the compatibility mode doesn't help, and neither does "Auto configure". Any advice?

I would go sniffing around for the config files. Generally you can manually set those things if you can locate the config file and open it with notepad.

There's a few "Auto Configure" .exe file for each of the expansions, but they don't do anything.

The game also detects my system as having 1mb of memory :/

I understand that, but there has to be a configuration file for the expansions somewhere. Every game and expansion I've ever played has one.
I would start rooting around where the AA config file is located.
MOHAA\main\configs I believe is the location.

There is an "unnamedsoldier.cfg" file in the folder, but as far as I can tell, all it contains are key bindings, nothing with audio quality.

Plus, the base game works flawlessly, which is weird.

I am re playing those games as I type this and I found no problem with the audio. I have an Onboard audio but I can play with either my bluetooh headsets and adjust the volume there as well or I can play it on my Logitech Z5500 and blast away.

Don't get me wrong, the way you can adjust or change is not really user friendly but there is a way where you hover or click on the option and those change option appear.

    Good Luck.

I can adjust the volume just fine. :/

It's the quality that won't change. None of the settings will change. And I know how to change them, it works fine on the base game.

    Heh.

In the settings, there is an audio quality adjuster. If I set it to high, there's no difference from the default of low. It's only for the 2 expansions.

It's not the speakers either, my ABBA music comes in clear as can be.

Forget the quality of the audio in the game then, what more you want (or need) to cap some heads than ABBA in the background as your audio?
