Desperately seeking assistance with the Starcraft II map/mod editor.

First of all hello and thank you for taking the time to read this cry for help!

I've done some modest searching via Google in trying to find a guide of some sort in the basic usage of the Starcraft II Galaxy Editor, so far I've had little to no luck. Now it is entirely possible I didn't dig deep enough, and if that is the case a simple link or push in the right direction would be excellent xD .

Now I have pretty extensive experience with the GECK editing tool associated with both Fallout 3 & New Vegas, so I'm not a complete rookie, but any help even the tiniest of details could be of great use to me [I define extensive use as I've completed the GECK tutorial featured on Bethesda's website, and done plenty of tinkering on my own xD]. I love to hear the insight of those who have really spent time with the software, but even those in a similar position to mine can often offer great advice so I'm really not picky as to who replies to this.

What I'd like to learn how to do, specifically, is to bind the settings and modifications of a certain custom game with the map of my choosing. For example, I would like to take the Left 2 Die modification and, with some changes of my choosing, apply that gameplay style to the map of my choosing [Probably an existing Campaign or Multiplayer map].

I have no illusions of this being an easy task, I do expect to have to do some tinkering, but any help that any of you can provide would be greatly appreciated :)

One other thing I could use a few tips with is how to find the various files within my computer that are used by the Editor itself, since trying to access them from within has thus far eluded me D:

Thank you all again for your time and consideration, I hope that in the future I may be of assistance to one or all of those that may [and hopefully do] reply to this call for help!

Sincerely,

Alex "SneakAttack879"
