I do have to say I missed having the ability to further customize my character.
If I want a pimp faced geek wearing glasses named philbert whipplebottom as my hero I should be able to do so...

Well I've never been a fan of face mods, never used them.

Anyway the modern day pop star look just doesn't appeal to me in a game like dragon age - it simply wouldn't look right to me.

This just seems to be a ongoing thing in rpg's lately they used to let you customize to ridiculous levels lately it's going more and more to a default last name default appearance. I think it's lazy to be honest.

Though there are some looks I wouldn't use I have to agree with you on giving us more latitude in customization. However I think Dragon Age 2 gives a decent amount of customization.

Legacy DLC

Thought I'd put a plug in for Legacy, Dragon Age 2 newly released (last week) DLC. Having finally beat it I must say that I enjoyed it so much that I'm running through it a second time.

The game has a great story line, great game play, loads of new items, (some may be weakened if you have any of the item packs - Rogue, Warrior, Mage), challenging puzzles and a killer boss.

I also thought the graphics and cut scenes were well done as well.

The game can present some challenges if you aren’t fully leveled or adequately equipped. And you better have on your thinking cap because there is a puzzle.

Anyway at level 24 it was fairly smooth sailing for me till I got to that end boss.

Overall pretty good DLC and well worth the $9.99 asking price.
