    Starcraft 2 freezing

So anywhere from 25 seconds in to 10 minutes in my starcraft 2 will just freeze.
Sometimes the mouse cursor still functions and the game music continues. Other times its a complete freeze with the music still going.

I can not alt tab, ctrl shift esc or anything. If I do, the mouse cursor will freeze if it hasn't already. Requires a hard boot.

    I've tried Catalyst drivers: 11.2, 11.0, 10.4, 10.3
This has actually started happening early january and I've been struggling to find answers to this issue! From memory it started shortly after i updated my video card drivers, however I don't know which drivers I was using. Figured 10.3 was old enough.

    CPU: E8400
    Video Card: ATI HD5860
    Ram: 6gb
    OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

So I've tried running my CPU at stock speeds.
    Tried different video card drivers.
Tried using individual sticks of RAM.
    Tried re-installing SC2.
Updating every single driver, service packs + Windows updates.
    Chckdsk /r /f
    Different Power supply.
Temp checks (Cpu is ~48 on load, CPU always under 55 --- Celsius, not farenheit)

Only other game I play is CSS and Bad Company 2. Neither games have ever had issues, only once has CSS frozen though. Coincidence probably.

I have no idea what other options I have..

Have you asked blizzard support about this? I know SC2 had some compatibility problems. Looks like one of SC2 patches might make your SC2 don't like your PC.

Have you tried running game as admin? Maybe it's not wise... but it sometimes helps with some problems.

Yeah, I don't really know what else you could do either. I have SC2 and so do my friends. We've never run in to this kind of problem. But I found a helpful article. I don't want to post it all so here it is:
