| | Counter strike 1.6 not working on my Windows 7 hey guys i just install counter strike from my computer windows 7 64-bit and When i start Counter Strike 1.6 i get a black background and just hear the music, when i move the mouse i hear the menu sounds and i know that it has started but no display whats the problem anyone know? | | While I've seen nothing official on the subject I have seen on these forums a lot of people having issue with the G31 intel graphics and win 7. Unfortunately none of them have gotten back to me, so I don't know if any of the suggestions I have offered have been of any assistance. |

Thanks, kupalski i just turned on cstrike.exe and still not working You need to turn DEP OFF for cstrike.exe, locate the half life launcher (hl.exe) in C:\Program Files\Valve add that and turn it on in DEP. Let me know how you go. |

| | Well I'm back to my initial post in this thread. You need to update the driver for the intel graphics. I can't find a proper win 7 driver for it though, I'm guessing you are running a vista driver and it's probably the source of your issue. |
