    Yep.

I've been stuck on 10.10e because all sets after that have had one issue or another that makes them unusable.

What makes it worse is that some of these issues that were fixed (ie multi-monitor flickering caused by low 2D mem clock speeds) are broken again and now that the 6xxx series is the focus, there isn't much priority for fixing previous generations.
I have gone back to 10.11 because I was going to try the 10.10e. But the link to the hotfix is broke. I don't have any more display driver stop working when watching videos on line. Plus I have gone up to a year without updating my driver and never had problems.

Plus I don't really care if the game plays in x9 - x10 - or x11. If the games plays and look great in x9 you are not going to see that much of change in x11. But that is like beating a dead horse.

BTW even though I don't have the game yet, I have been keeping up on the game itself. With that said I found this gem - Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options Application
Looks like it's up to version 1.7 now.

    So... DX11 not out yet.

Has anybody tried that other file yet? if it does work, I may install it on my friend's rig and see if there are any differences.

Given the frames I get in hardcore just as the game is, I seriously doubt the dx11 version will even run for me. This 5850 can't cut it apparently.
For all of you holding out, I can say on hardcore, they have completely redefined dx9. It even includes some effects I mistook for tesselation at first. I suppose this could be a combination of their brilliant coding and the recent updates to dx9. Anyhow, the game is not visually disappointing at all even just in dx9, I would easily put it above the original in it's full dx10 glory.
My 5850 handled it at hardcore settings (no tweaking), but only just.
I suppose it's tolerable when you consider that card is the newest part of my entire system though... short of the monitor.

People over on the Amd forum are saying that the 11.3 driver has fix a lot of things.

Crysis 2 looks amazing, though dx9 is so outdated... Can't wait for dx11 support, that will be sick.

I still can't login to the game to play Multiplayer so I called EA 20 minutes ago and talked to the support people and they can't fix it on their end so they sent me a link to crytek to file a support ticket with them.

Since EA couldn't fix it they gave me a $20 Off Coupon Code, that doesn't expire, for any any purchase from the EA Store. I decided to pre-order Battlefield 3 for $39.99 shipped.

this is the number I called, 866-543-5435
