i have an on-board Rltk HD as well, but my dedicated card is an X-Fi. i read some people have fixed it by lowering the sample rate, it didnt fix it for me, but it's worth a shot. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number eMachines W3502 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x32 CPU Intel Celeron D 3.2 Ghz 533 fsb (LGA 775) Motherboard Intel D101GGC Memory 1 GB (2x512MB) PC-3200 DDR @ 200Mhz Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce 9400GT- 1GB Sound Card Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreame Gamer Monitor(s) Displays 19" LCD HDtv Screen Resolution 1360x768 @ 60Htz Keyboard Stock. Have you tried updating Direct X, this usually resolves almost any problems within the game performance:
It doesn't matter which version of Windows you have (YES, this includes 7 and Vista 64 and 32 bit versions) you must update direct x in order to run games smoother and less "crashy".

Had this problem myself.
Bioshock does seem a bit 'glitchy' to say the least on 7.
I have it running as administrator and XP sp3 compatability mode. Have had no probs since.
Also, just make sure you have updated drivers for you sound card.
Also!, when you run the game, make sure the sound setting in game is set to the same advanced setting for you sound card. e.g. if you sound card in device properties is set to 5.1 make sure the in game is set correct to. hard to spot in the game options but there are arrows either side of the sound setting in the centre of the screen.
good luck! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS win 7 CPU Phenom x3 720 (3.2) Motherboard ASRock M3A790GXH/128M Memory Corsair DHX 4 gig ddr3 1330 Graphics Card Radeon 4850x2 1gb Sound Card Onboard 7.1 PSU Aztec 450 |
