Command and Conquer - RedAlert3 - setup not even runs on win7 x64

    Hi

Almost one month ago, I installed win x64.

Working fine, no problems! All games running smooth... But when I try to install Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, the easetup.exe/autorun.exe does not start at all! Nothing on task manager or no error message either.

    Everything updated!

    System spec
    Phenon x4 925 - 4gb ddr3 ram - 1tb seagate - ati hd6850 - ecs ag785-m

    Any ideas why?

Have you tried running the installation in compatibility mode? try that and see how you go.

I tried with all options turned on.

It executes and then it closes. But nothing else happens.

I tried cleaning all options regarding the easetup.exe on the registry, and after I try to run it I get that window asking if the program was installed correctly. I tried used recommended settings with no success either.

I tried the demo and it worked, but they are different executables anyway.

This might sound like a strange request, but can you make sure there are no references to the installation in Programs and Features.

Hope your not being sarcastic, i only ask because i helped someone install the game, it didn't appear to be installing but when i checked programs and features there was an entry there. when the entry was removed, the program installed on the next run through..i don't post suggestions without reason.

No sarcasm at all! It was funny to see it there though, how the installation could be there anyway? Good call!
