many games crashing or not running at all in windows 7 ultimate x64

Hello, since all my games work on xp while others dont work in 7 and that other forums cant give me a reply, ill give it a shot here.

Eversince I installed service pack 1, all my games crash and give wierd errors (such as dll missing or appcrash)

    Games that were affected:

    Street Fighter IV:
    - an error that states that xlive.dll is missing from my computer.

    Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit:
    - APPCRASH (code below) when using USB Gamepad
    - However, when I take out the Gamepad, it works fine

    NBA 2K11:
    - Gamepad freezes the game.
    - Worked with gamepad prior to service pack 1

    Crysis 2:
    - Probably not a first priority problem for me, for it works, BUT
    - Gaming performance on campaign so far is lackluster, graphics not so sharp, and the movement is not smooth probably because the game gets a bit choppy
    - Used an advanced graphics control program to lower graphical performance for increased fps (the one from this post inCrysis - Crysis Forums / Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options Application)

Here are some of the specs of my Comp:
    Intel Core i5-760 2.8Ghz 8MB cache
    2 GB RAM
    Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT 1024MB
working usb ports (tested it with other devices such as flash disks and portable hard disks)

    These are what i did:

    - Tested in Compatibility Mode XP Service Pack 2 and 3
    - Updated video card using driver 270.61
    - Updated DirectX using End-User Runtimes (it was the StandAlone version of this Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer , couldnt find the link now due to time constraints)
    - Did a rollback by uninstalling service pack 1
    - Set the affinity of NFS to 2 cores while running the game, still crashes
    - Patched NFS using the first patch
    - Lots of Googling, couldn't find a solid fix

The games are still in bad shape, SFIV and NFS:HP still dont work while Crysis 2 doesn't run well. Amazingly, SFIV and NFS run well WITH controller in my other XP computer, which has lower specs than this I5

This is as much info as I can give ATM, if you need more info, I'll do my best.

    NOTES:
    - I have 2 other games in my computer that work perfectly fine:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
    and Dragon Age: Origins

    Code:
    Problem signature:

    Please list your system specs

Ok, first off we can’t help if you don’t supply the most basic of information – systems specs. The importance of this can’t be overstated since game performance is highly dependent on your hardware. Please see this tutorial on filling out system specs as well as my How To Ask For Help guide.
