Some folks start multi characters just for storage- but to get all the storage slots you have to play the game and lev them up etc. 1 character might hold all the shot guns etc or another all sniper rifles etc. You still need a friend and drop dupe to move stuff to your other characters- so.

Well I am a 48 year old retard so do not feel bad- ha ha..

You have some folks I call purists- they have their own sites or some or in other threads out side of gear box and they hate mod gear etc- they plan out and talk about and tell each other how to go to folks games and ask to see or hold their gear and then run off and sell it so it is gone- or they think so any way- they are butt holes and or fan boys and hang out at gear box like they are the only folks on earth or play the game and try and get patches what ever to suit them or thier likes what ever- I hate them.

I have a kick um for the hell of it list with all gear box forum screen names if they join my game using gear box screen name and I catch it I kick um unless I like them and know they are cool- I wish I had a perm ban button..

Some folks join your game just to mess it up they keep trying to spawn ya to what ever maps over and over and if you kick them they come back and keep on and on- a perm ban button will solve it and if it can ban his ip or what ever it is where even if change screen names they can not come back would be best..

Some folks are just pure ass wipes man- what can I say..

being single or playing singly means you only have to deal with one particular 'ass-wipe' at a time.

Craw does not just drop tons of gear it is all high lev gear and more chance to get special gear like pearlescents etc and higher shields- and many guns etc that cost 99999 etc. the more players the more he drops like 20 or 30 or more boxes 50 boxes worth all at 1 time..That is why folks farm him and over and over or all day long etc..

Any way you ask what do I have. I posted 2 videos in the other posts of my gear. I said I will share it all if you want any of it.. You may not. You can check out the videos and look at my gear maybe some or all of it is better than yours you can see what you might find laters- no one gun is one gun and the game and never drop it again. Much of the stuff the game auto dupes it its self so duping is not like killing god or any thing.. I have found same guns or other stuff many times. Some boxes together can have same exact stuff in each box- again that is duplicates dupes.

So duping with friends should not be a big deal- just you and yor friends have same gear faster or more so than 1 friend has worst luck etc.. Mod stuff is another story- but some folks come to your game ask if you want mod stuff and just drop it and go and have never talked to ya or played with you other than that- again mod stuff is in the open in the game- I am ok with it..

Just playing the last 2 days with my new hunter I have had the same exact pistols or shotguns dropped by bots or skags or waste piles what ever in boxes 12x each. It kind of pisses me off a lil because I can not upgrade what I have - all I can do is sell it- and I have found same exact gear playing in other folks games too- so duping should not make folks have fits or any thing.. if so its kind of silly really..

Ha ha they have whole threads at gear box for trading and said no dupes or mods- they are idiots because the game dupes stuff all the time- no one gun is one gun and only 1 person will ever have it. Them people claim to be so dang smart and will rip me over my grammar or spelling yet they post stupid crap like that and act like ass wipes or think his 1 gun is the only one in the game- they are idiots.. If they care to cry about mod stuff well I can understand that- but they can play together with folks with no mods or said they have none any way- Who else is more easy cheated then folks said to have none and you think you can trust them- its comical..

Oh man Id have a good time with a fool at gear box in a trading thread and he has a gun and I have one just like it. Well he never duped it I never duped mine or played with him or we gave it to each other how can he explain it- he can not. What call me a cheater and look stupid- what I broke into his house and copied his save games or something- what? I do not know how to mod or use willow tree- I am afraid of it and might ruin my game- its silly. If I did know how to use the mod tools id give my self 100 slots or something to carry more stuff- so.

How much is it actually helping and how much is just percieved to be working.

As we've all noticed, there is a certain level of alaising still present no matter what.

Anyway, I tried to stand in the exact same spot, so as posistioning wouldnt be much of a factor, and took a couple screenshots.

Heres what I came up with:

No AA At all.

x4AA with Multisampling:

x2AA with x2SuperSample:

It seems to me it does indeed help, although not as well as it should. Notice the powerlines and Flag pole?

But for me, it also seems that much over x4 Multi and the results are not that apparent.
Ive settled with x4 Mulit.

it certainly is subtle, so i've blown things up 300% to make it a bit clearer:

no aa

4x adaptive multi-sample aa - as far as i know, adaptive aa is meant to help with objects with holes in them, such as the railings.

as you can see, there is a difference on the power lines, and the verticals too. ideally i should have taken the shot with 16x aa, but i'm too lazy to do it now. :)

note that the original screenshots were taken from exactly the same place, with exactly the same view without touching either the movement keys nor the mouse - it's only that the crops weren't cropped exactly at the same place - i was a bit slack in photoshop there

so it's not as if a slight change of view changed the edges at all.

i don't think you're ever going to completely eliminate aliasing in borderlands unless they rewrite the code and remake all the objects.

that's never going to happen, so until then we're going to have to do the best we can. :)

i'm not convinced now that the config tool helps the aa (check my signature quote) - but it does add extra little options such as vysnc, disabling intro movies etc - i found that pre-config tool i was getting bad tearing, even with vsync forced on, but now it's gone.

all the config tool does is to change entries in the ini files, and just saves a bit of manual work.

Looks to me changes you guys are making is better. Maybe its just the photo or lighting what ever but looks best changes can be seen in mickeys photos.

Hope you guys can get happy with it soon so you can go into full playing mode and have some fun- not that you are not already.

Me just woke up think I will be playing something soon- not sure maybe borderlands maybe stalker- might even go justcause2.

If you guys wanted to hook up id surely go borderlands tho
