    Based on what resolution? That setup won't run many modern games at higher settings.

    Well, I think it's a good idea to invest a little more on the motherboard in order to have a higher survival than the model you chose. But it is only a suggestion - below - which would cost about $ 25 more - Newegg price comparison. But remember: the choice is yours.

    If you're going to go AMD it would be better at this point in time to wait until about this time next month. That is when the next line of AMD processors are supposed to be coming out (socket AM3+), which at the moment is mid to late June.
