Guild Wars
So, I recently reinstalled the MMORPG entitled Guild Wars.
Just out of curiosity, has anyone on here played it in the past, or still play it?

I have played it alot, but I stopped playing a half year ago. But still thinking it is a very good MMORPG.
Guild Wars is a pretty solid MMO.
It tried a new approach to the classic MMO setup, with instanced areas, premade 6 skill setup for heroes and pretty nice quests, some almost impossible to do without a party. If you have all the expansions, it's a pretty good past time...
I use to play it, thought about installing it again the other day since I haven't played it in a very long time.
I purchased the first game, Prophecies, the day it was released, and I still hop on for a bit every week. I own all of the expansions, too. It's a very fun game. As Hellriser mentioned, it takes a different approach than most MMOs. Eight-slot skill bar for yourself, and you are allowed to carry up to 7 heroes (AI controlled henchmen) with you into instances, or "explorable areas", providing you have the expansion(s) for them. You can customize your heroes with any 8 skills you choose, excluding the PvE-only skills, which are reserved for players. You are also able to carry up to 7 other real players (11 in some areas) instead of your heroes into those instances.
Unlike most MMOs, players are met in towns and outposts, not aimlessly wandering the map. I haven't been too up to date with GW2, but as far as I've heard, it will be an open world, with no instances. Looking forward to it :)
I also bought Prophecies the day it was released (I made sure I had it pre-ordered, so I picked it up from the shop on release day.) The expansion packs are all worth the buy as well.
The only issue I have with the game is that a lot of the users are friendly to be honest. For one or two quests/missions they are fine, but when it comes to joining a decent, sustainable guild, they're dreadful.
I'm also very hyped about Guild Wars 2, so hyped I don't remember the release date, can anyone remind me? Either way though, I'm going to be sure to get it and see what it's like!
I just staarted playing after being off for a while send me a friend request claw bow
I actually tried it once and was really surprised at the low pc requirements needed to play the game considering the pretty high graphics. But I just couldn't get used to the map being separated into 'zones'. I prefer the open world style much more, which is why I can't wait until Guild Wars 2 .
Oh I also forgot that you can't jump.
