How much (if any) have you tried Compatibility Mode
For the early to mid 90s games, are they DOS? Might want to try DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self OS Main - Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-Bit; 2nd - Windows Server 2008 R2 CPU Main - Core i7 2600K; 2nd - Core i7 920 Motherboard Main - Asus P8Z68-V Pro/Gen3; 2nd - Gigabyte GA-EX58-UDR3 Memory Main - 16GB Corsair Vengeance; 2nd - 12GB Corsair Vengeance Graphics Card Main - XFX Radeon 6870 1GB; 2nd - XFX Radeon 4870 1GB Sound Card Both: Onboard Realtek Azalia Monitor(s) Displays Main - Hann 25" + I-INC 25" + Acer 23"; 2nd - Upgrading Soon Screen Resolution Main - 1920x1080 (All Three Monitors); 2nd - Upgrading Soon Keyboard Main - Razer Reclusa; 2nd - Old MS Keyboard Mouse Main - Logitech MX Revolution; 2nd - Old MS Mouse PSU Main - OCZ 600W Modular; 2nd - OCZ 600W Case Main - Thermaltake Element G; 2nd - NZXT something or other Cooling Main - Corsair H80; 2nd - Prolimatech Megahalems Hard Drives Main - (1) Crucial M4 128GB (Boot)

Maybe they are 16-bit games & installers, they won't work on a 64 bit Win 7. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom/DIY OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel C2D E8400@4Ghz OC Motherboard ASUS P5Q-E, bios 2101 Memory 4x2GB Kingston HyperX 8500@1066Mhz Graphics Card Nvidia GTS450 OC Sound Card Onboard SoundMax Monitor(s) Displays Samsung Syncmaster 17" Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Mouse Gigabyte M6900 PSU Corsair TX-750 V2 Case Custom Tower Cooling Air: Arctic Cooling 2xF8 & F12; Akasa AK-968, 2xAK-HD-BL Hard Drives WD6402AAEX-640GB(system), WD10EALX-1TB(storage), other external disks & docking stations Internet Speed 10M/1M |

Thank you for the replies, I have have tried DosBox & the games I am trying to get working are not DOS; they are definitely Windows. I've also tried Compatibilty Mode using settings originally required for each game as well as all other configurations, still a no go.
Am I just out of luck? I may have to setup a duel-boot w/XP, but not sure how/if I'd run into other problems; not even sure I still have my XP installation code. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Self built comfuser #5 OS 7 Pro. 64Bit w/SP1 CPU AMD FX 4100, Socket AM3+ - 3.6GHz Motherboard ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 Memory 8.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 1600 MHz (2x 4GB Kingston sticks) Graphics Card ASUS Radeon HD 6670 Sound Card Onboard High Definition Audio Device Monitor(s) Displays Envision H190L LCD Screen Resolution 1280x1024, True Color (32bit), 75Hertz Keyboard AOpen KB-910 Mouse Logitech G500 Case Antec Super Lanboy Cooling Stock CPU fan + 2 (1 front, 1 back) 120mm Antec fans Hard Drives WD 750GB, 64MB Cache SATA Drive Internet Speed Verizon FiOS Antivirus avast! Just a shot in the dark here, but how about Windows Virtual PC & "XP Mode"? Apparently it is free to download from MS and will run on both Pro and Ultimate editions of Win 7. As this was made purely to be able to use older software that won't run under Win 7, I see no reason why this wouldn't work to bridge the gap for older games as well... worth a try, at least. Good luck. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer Aspire 5738PG-6306 OS 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core 2 Duo T6600 @ 2.20GHz Motherboard Acer JV50 | Intel PM45 Chipset | BIOS Phoenix v1.21 Memory 4GB SDRAM DDR2 667 Graphics Card ATI Mobility Radeon 4570HD 512MB VDDR3 (2.25GB HyperMemory) Sound Card Integrated Dolby Home Theater HD Audio Support Monitor(s) Displays 15.6" LED backlight HD/WS CineCrystal w/ Multi-Touch Screen Resolution Notebook: 1366x768 | Syncmaster P2370HD: 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Wireless 3000 (USB) Mouse Logitech V220 (USB) PSU AC Adapter Case Blue Clam shell Cooling OEM Bult-in. How did you get yoda stories to install on Windows 7? When I try I can get the launcher to go but when I click install nothing happens, it just shuts down. I've tried all the compatibility modes and dosbox, but dosbox says it's not a dos program and won't run it. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit Star Wars gaming problems?
