    Can't get my sims 2 to work on my computer :(


    Today I downloaded sims 2 double deluxe , seasons, and university all on my toshiba windows 7 computer. If I put in the sims university disc it'll show the screen that has the logo and then nothing, if I put in seasons it'll say I need to make sure sims seasons is in the drive and press ok. I've tried running them as administrator, I've changed all three of their compatibility modes to windows xp service pack 3 because someone on a forum suggested that. I really want to play this game because my little cousin is coming over soon and we were looking forward to playing them! Any help? I didn't pirate them or anything, they're from a couple years ago and they did work on my old laptop and I think that was vista

    As far as I remember you need to install the "SecuRom" drivers manually (and/or with administrator rights).
    It is the security "feature" of the Sims 2 game(s).
    Than it should run again smoothly.

I have an old Sims 1 cd that runs fine on my husband's computer (and we both have Windows 7), but when I insert it into my computer it makes loud spinning noises and then the box appears where I can choose to run it or open the folder, and when I choose to run it, there are the loud spinning noises...

yup, from the title. well, its not so much makin magic, more the sims. so, i install every copy of the sims 1, house party, hot date, on holiday, unleashed, superstar, makin magic in that order. so im fine. until, 30 minutes later, it crashes. then it tells me i have to uninstall it....
Will the first sims video game work with windows 7? just want to make sure before I buy it
