New Vegas Dead Money removing the collar with cheats or mods?

Screw Bethesta for making such a ass DLC. Its frustrading as hell. I got till the quest named "Put the dog down" and I didnt shoot any of the radios upstairs, and now im inside the place where im supposed to shut the gasvalves off. And as soon as I enter the room my collar starts beeping. I cant leave the room and anywhere I go I in the room it beeps. And I quicksave alot too, so I dont have a good save too where I could just go back and shoot the damn radios and than going in the room. So are there any mods or cheats that could help me out? I tried using the "unlock command to unlock the door, but that didnt make it accessable, than I tried the remove collar mod. That didnt work either.

Uh, the Collar and radios is what makes the DLC - it's the point of the game. Yeah, it frustrating if you don't find the radios, or shoot the speakers. But again, that's the point of the DLC - find/destroy the radios and speakers without getting blown to pieces

This is sort of like asking if there is a way to remove the stealth element of a game that's totally designed for stealth action.

Anyway you'll have to explore and find the radios and speakers in that level. Make sure you check all the tables in the rooms.

I found it quite easy, best make sure you can run fast and aim high, it's difficult but it's doable, as soon as your collar starts beeping, get hunting for the radio/speakers that are setting it off, if you feel that it could be easier, then you may need to re-load from a previous save, after all, it does ask you if you want to save the game before you start Dead Money

Yea I screwed up real big, sooo I had to cheat myself out. Used god mode. The collar exploded and I was alive and it never beeped again. And im a cheating punk now.

But hell its not my fault, I had no saves to get me out of this mess. I didnt shoot the radios upstairs of the building, so the signal reached all the way to the basement, I couldnt get back up there to shoot the radios out since the door behind me was closed and anywhere I went in the basement, it didnt stop beeping. So cheating was my only way out saddly. But yea atleast I got out of dead money alive to do other stuff in the wasteland.

hmm, i suppose, but i hope you re-do it again without the cheats next time, i want to play it again anyway, the broken hearts DLC looks good but i dont have any saves apart from the ending, which the game just ends, so i need to start again anyway, pointless paying for a DLC that i can't use lol.

    Sorry you lost me

Once you leave the Dead Money area just follow the signal/trail to Honest Hearts DLC. That's what I did, and you keep your levels.

    Am I missing something?

No need to start a new save for each DLC unless it wasn't in the main game during your last save.

BTW your last save should be the end of dead money so if you didn't have Honest Hearts before than, just load the last save from when you left the Dead Money area and it should pick up Honest Hearts.

What I meant about no saves, was I didnt have saves that could be used to get back up and shoot the radios. I was refering to the room, where you talk or kill dog and must shut down the gas valves. Lol ofcourse I had NV saves. Im not that hardcore.

And trying the DLC again without cheats. HELL NO! Im never touching that dlc again. That was damn awful. It wasnt bad or hard, it was just damn annoying- poison gas, those damn ghosts that needed to get their head blown off, collar beeping, and that last boss was annoying too with his stinking ganuss rifle. Again he wasnt hard to beat he was annyoing. This dlc just tests how annoyed you can get. It was damn fun to watch in youtube how other people played Dead money and got real angry.

About the cheating part, I only used it once for the collar to blow up. And than I turned the cheat off. How was I supposed to know that a speaker in one area whould manipulate with my collar, while I was in a completely different area. So as far as im concerned I used the cheat for what cheats are originally for- debugging. And that definately was a bug. Without that cheat I whould have been forced to start from the beggining of dead money.

O and Honest Hearts is awesome, its just a little too short thou. And its very immersive and doesnt annoy even one bit.
