Windows 7: windows 7 home premium games

there were games installed I was playing chess titans and mahjong etc, then one day after a storm cut out the power they were no longer there. they are listed in programs and features but a search for games shows nothing. there is nothing listed period no matter how I look or search. I have tried turning the features on and off etc but nothing happens. I tried searching for them individually but they are not showing up. the only restore I can do is destructive and turn it back to the crap it was when i first bought it. any suggestions. and pleaser dont tell me to turn the features on and off again i have already done this as I have said.
