sorry to break the bad news, but it's next to impossible to upgrade the graphics in a laptop.
if you wanted to play games, i would spend the money on a xbox or similar.

ERRRRRRR, I just wanted to play a good open world game, and ~I understand it's impossible to play it on XP, so I can't play it on my home PC~ Do you know any games like it?
What a waste of 10Hours
are you sure it's impossible to play on xp?
again, the most important factor is the graphics card/chip in the xp machine.
Yes i'm 100%, the company actually made the decision to not make it work on XP and there are no patches, strange...
ah, i didn't know that.
i noticed it was a directx9 game, and assumed it would work on xp too.
i stand corrected.
Thanks for everones help. If anyone ever finds a solution please email me .......Thanks.....

is your computer able to run seven? if so why not upgrade to windows seven, I had it running on my pent 4 and it ran fantastic! just a thought...
The problem is your graphics simply don't support the shader model just cause 2 uses.
I don't think there's really a way around it.
