thats a good point you made there mate but sometimes you need mobility. in my case, i am studying abroad and whenever i visit home i stay long. thats why i went with a desktop replacement laptop and i am utterly satisfied with it. it costs 1,5 as much but you can carry it around with you, take it to your lap when you are in bed and continue gaming. and you just have one cord you have to deal with (the ac adaptor) And it is upgradeable in most ways. You can put 24 gbs of ram, 3 hdds. you can even swap the graphics card. And it has decent cooling and silency. Maybe its just me but i like it better this way. Aaanyways. The problem was hard to figure out because i never suspected the hdd. I wish i checked the seagate forums sooner. If my graphics card was faulty in any way, i shouldn't have been able to play any games at all but it was a random thing, i was having trouble with only a few games. If it was about the game engines you mentioned, well, i was having problems with the very same games i have been playing fluently and beautifuly. I can only explain it with bad luck because only a handful of the momentus xt's causes this problem.
I went to the shop and after a few workdays they swapped it with another momentus xt. I experienced no problems so far

Does anybody know of a good music player that has a good Equalizer? IMO, the equalizer sucks for WMP 11, realplayer free, and my sound card. I like the PowerAMP app for my android, the equalizer has a sick bass. but it's not available on pc.
