the only difference between the pc and 360 versions of the controllers is that the pc one comes with a driver disk, and is $10 dollars more. double check, but i think you can just buy a regular black 360 controller and plug it into your pc. on 7/vista the drivers are built in, and xp you can d/l the divers from MS's website.

(fyi, i got mine (pc)on some clearance day @ bestbuy for $25, they're usually $40+)

I bought the wired one for $34 free shipping. It has a slightly different wire than the regular controller. Ill try my regular 360 controller to see if it will work. It wouldnt work before in windows 7

i bought a wireless one that came with the reciver. i think you can connect 4 (?). im not sure. but i do know that you can connect at least two.

i looked at the product page from msoft (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/ga...emRequirements) but i couldn't find anything about how many controlers you could connect. i even looked at the product pages.

    *edit*
ok i went to this site (http://support.xbox.com/support/en/u...egory=hardware) and it says "Lets you use up to four wireless controllers and four wireless headsets together with one wireless gaming receiver"

I just painted an extra wireless 360 remote i had Black and silver to match my PC. It works fine.
And when i need the 4th remote for the 360 i just re sync it to it. and vice versa.
