    Battle for Middle Earth (1) Windows 7

    I already have Battle for Middle Earth 2 installed and running on my windows 7 64-bit laptop. Just got the first BFME but it doesn't even auto run the install, and when I try to start it manually nothing happens.

    Help please!

    Personally i did not have any issues with this install, even on 64-bit OS which was nice. Have you tried running the program in compatibility mode? How to Run a Program in Compatibility Mode in Windows 7

    maybe its the fact you are trying to play it on a laptop. perhaps the requirements aren't met and it wont start up.

    Considering the OP states that BFME 2 is already installed, i wouldn't think so.

    @Clinkz,

    The link you sent would have been perfect except I can't get anything from the disk to run, and there's no compatibility tab for the CD or its autorun function, so still no install.

    did you try to open the cd, and click on the install or set up .exe's?
