WoW non crit updates help

O.k. ever since my 3 month WoW account ran out I wanted to try a private server because the cash blizz is asking for is too much for me so I got the launcher for WoWbeez and did everything the guide for it said to do ex. extract zip file folder into WoW game folder then I just copy pasted the server names into my serverlist.wtf and launched the game from WoWbeez launcher and put my WoW beez login into the username and password bars and a message came up telling me it needs to update so I finished the rest of my 4.2.0 update and went back to the game launched it from wowbeez launcher and still got the same message so do I need to downgrade the client version so I can log in to the wowbeez private servers or what? >.<
