    random mouse speed issues

hi, I got a problem with my mouse. for a while now my mouse has been switching between 2 settings for no apparent reason. Im in the middle of my game playin and suddenly my mouse is way slower or faster again.

it switches between 2 settings every week or so, I guess if I had 2 give an interval. this is rlly bugging me out and hurting my gaming performance since mousespeed is critical.

if I remove the automatic precision thing it is about equally fast as it was before when I had it on. and today I still had precision off and suddenly my mouse went meganinja fast again. so I turned it on and it is back 2 normal.

most likely in a week or so it'll be very slow again, I'll turn precision off again and it'll be back like it was.

its not the precision toggling unnoticed or accidently, Im not that poor of a computer user.

the mouse speed changes without me changing anything, no computer reset, nothing running but the game and mb some music, out of the blue its different.

can some1 plz help me resolve this issue?

hi madness, you don't happen to have a Razer mouse of types? my Razer Lachesis has 2 buttons right underneath the wheel that alters the sensitivity on the fly, maybe you're pressing them accidentally (this is providing you have a Razer). Maybe a fiddle with the mouse drivers might kick it back into shape?

My G9 does this from time to time but it depends on the games really so I don't think is a Mouse problem per say... each game is different.

I do have a razer mouse, but i got the imperator.
and it doesnt depend on the game, I always play the same game. it can be the same for days but then eventually it switches.

I'll try out the buttons below the scroll thing 2 see if they have any effect
