Lancer 2000 freezes on win7 HP aftr mis 1

The original Starlancer (2000) freezes after mission 1 is completed on win 7 HP vers. Is there a workaround?

You are using a netbook right? Well first try running it as administrator and under Windows 98 compatibility mode. If after that it still doesn't work, try using this no cd crack, it has been known to run the game more stably... http://gf.wiretarget.com/sl/starlancer_uk.rar

Right-click the shortcut and select properties. Select the compatibility tab, and tick Run as administrator and Run this program in compatibility mode for: select from the drop down box Windows 98.

Did you use the No-CD crack, the Compatibility settings, or both?

    SlasherIT,
    I used the compatabilty settings:
Run as Administrater, but not sure if I used a specific Windows vers.
    How do I check that?
Thanks again SlasherIT, but I haven't had a chance to test for a second run.

Nah its ok... I'm just curious. Report back if you get any new problems with the game, or just create a new thread if you get any other computer related issue.

    Have a nice day,
