    Grand Theft Auto IV

Hello guys, sorry for posting again. I just bought Sniper Ghost Warrior and Grand Theft Auto IV & Episodes From Liberty City. I haven't opened them yet and I can take the back yet.

Sorry for talking so much.... My question is would I be able the run Grand Theft Auto IV & Episodes from liberty city. The games on the back say Grand Theft Auto IV/ The lost and Damned / The ballad of gay tony.!

    It says on the back

    OS Windows 7 - I have windows 7
    Processor - Intel core 2 Duo 1.8 Ghz - I have an i3
    I have enough Memory
    Video Card 256MB Nvdia 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900 - I have an Intel (R) HD Graphics

Hope I gave you enough information!

Even if I won't get the full gaming experience will I still be able to play it?

    Hi,

Sorry to tell you, but minimum requirements aren't always right. Sorry to tell you but you can't run GTA 4. I'll tell you why..

    Your OS is obviously fine.
Your processor is just no good for GTA 4. GTA 4 is ported badly from consoles to PC and so demands better hardware than needed really... Rockstar recommends at least a Quad-Core for optimal experience. What a joke, but this is true sadly.
Your graphics... Intel Graphics. For gaming (especially laptop Intel Graphics) it completely sucks (no offense).

So sorry, if I were you and you wanted to game you should buy a new computer (build it yourself from parts would be my recommendation). If you aren't gonna buy a new computer soon... Sell the game. If you can't afford a decent gaming computer than just buy a console... It would be cheaper and can run GTA 4 (albeit with worser graphics). If you wanna play some games on your laptop... Buy and play GTA: San Andreas and Half-Life 2.

I'm not sure Intel graphics could run San Andreas either....check out my spec's....I'm not happy with how GTA4 runs

Nah Intel Graphics can definitely run San Andreas. I can run San Andreas on a GeForce FX Go 5600, with a really old Intel P4 3.06Ghz, and 1.25 GB of RAM...lol

@Ivan the SoSo - Are you running the latest 1.0.7.0 patch for GTA 4? Also just so you know, GTA 4 EFLC runs much better than GTA 4. It is more optimized and less buggy than GTA 4... I get at least 10 FPS higher on EFLC with graphics settings set higher than GTA 4...

Oh yeah, Windows live makes sure of that....With fraps I get around 40-60 fps, so it's very playable, just the road surface stays gray in the tunnel when approaching....It's back to is potholed self once in. That's in both on GTA4 and EFLC......

But you want to know what the ultimate insult is? I built this system primarily for GTA4, I tweaked upgraded parts to get it to run smooth, and short of a i7 and a 2 gig card it probably runs as smooth as it gets....In the final mission I have no problem with the car chase...the shootout at the old casino....chasing the chopper with the boat...getting to Little Jacobs chopper all easy, but you have to tap on the space bar to get Niko to climb in the chopper....no talent involved, but he won't climb in!!! It's a known glitch that if you have a fast system you have to SLOW down the frame rate!Maybe the next patch will fix that?

??? You're not making too much sense...

I'm telling you, you cannot run GTA 4 or Sniper: Ghost Warrior AT ALL. Return it if you ain't gonna get a new computer...
