haha, great job xD you only sent me into mild panic!
but panic is healthy! after so long with no issues ive let a few files sit too long on the HD before moving to them to my external HD. getting careless is bad, especially with the long string of bad luck ive had with this laptop...
Vista was so... horrible that before moving to 7 ive had several crashes and blue screens. i had Vista set to automatically updating stuff and something about Vista Service Pack 2 just obliterated everything. how come crashes always happen when youre in the middle of something very important thats due in a few days xD finally getting new RAM and getting Windows 7 was a highly anticipated move. but the Vista crash left my system so ruined that getting it to boot required a lot of work... it took 3 other computers to download, and make a boot disc that would work. THEN my laptop overheated and crashed during the Windows 7 install... needless to say my machines had a few rough patches. it ran fairly smoothly afterward though. just to be on the safe side ive been saving everything to an EHD since destruction was inevitable from such an unstable beginning. this laptop is about 5 years old and only a few months with Windows 7.
so as much as you may have been overexaggerating, it wouldnt be a surprise for me to see everything i knew and loved totally gone in the blink of an eye xD
