Update your NVIDIA GPU drivers: GeForce.com - Get the Most Out of Your GPU

Update your DirectX drivers: Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - DirectX End-User Runtime

    Update your sound drivers: Realtek

You updated all 3 drivers and still are getting the issue? Well, is this the only game you get this problem with?

    Try the following:

    1. Download and install Revo Uninstaller Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems (Check out this tutorial Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Uninstall Programs on how to uninstall NFS:World with it).

    2. Download and re-install NFS: World again. This should clear any inconsistencies, missing files, and the like. (Sorry if you have slow internet).

    3. Try running the game again and see if you get the problem again.
